Cherry Creek Arts Festival Recap July 13 2014

Hello Magnetackers!

We had the great opportunity of visiting the Cherry Creek Arts Festival in sunny Denver, Colorado last weekend.  The show was packed with art lovers and filled with artists - both first timers and Cherry Creek regulars.  The show was held over the long July 4th weekend from Friday to Sunday.  Meeting new artists is always an exciting time because each photographer or artist brings something unique to the table (or canvas).  All of the new artists we had the privilege of meeting were extremely nice and welcoming, encouraging us to ask questions about their work to get a true meaning of each piece.

Although all of the artists stood out in their own way, we would be remiss if we didn't mention Cali Hobgood (see her work here: Photographs By Cali).  She is extremely nice and talented and we can't wait to see her again!

Some of the other great artists we had the opportunity to meet were David Bjurstrom (Drawings in Graphite Pencil), Taylor Mazer (Drawings), Desarae Lee (Illustrations), Jerry Maschinot (Photography), Thomas Brain (Photography), Chris Dahlquist (Photographer / Object Maker), Bruce Jefferies Reinfeld (Fine Art Film Photography), Michael Paul Cole (Photographic Works), Mitch Levin (Vintage Industrial), Dolan Geiman (Mixed Media), and David Mayhew (Fine Art Weather Photography).

Here are just a few photos from the Cherry Creek Arts Festival Facebook page.
